Betting Regulations
In Omaha Hold'em poker, there are a total
of four betting rounds.
The first two betting rounds are governed
by the tables lower limit stake. The small blind is made
by the first player to the left of the dealer button and is
for half the lower limit stake. The big blind is made by
the next player and is for the the entire limit stake.
After the second betting round, all betting
rounds are governed by the tables higher limit stake.
This means that the wager originally placed in the first two
rounds is doubled for the remaining rounds.
No player is allowed to exceed four bets in
a single round. These four bets are considered to be a
bet, raise, re-raise and a cap. After the capping of the
pot, the only allowed actions are folding or calling.
However, when a hand turns heads-up, there is no maximum
imposed on re-raises.
Dealing Status
In all poker games, a small circular object
referred to as the dealer button is used to designate who the
dealer is of every hand.
When a hand is finished and all earnings
have been divulged to the players, the dealer button is
rotated in a clockwise direction to the next player.
This player will serve as the dealer for the next hand.
The dealer button also determines who posts
the small and big blinds during the first betting round.
(The first player to the left of the button is required to
post the small blind, while the player next to them is
required to post the big blind) After initial betting
has gone full circle back to the original blind bets, the
players who made them have the choice check, call, raise or
fold on their next action.
After 'The Flop' all betting for every
round thereafter is initiated by the player to the immediate
left of the dealer button.

Betting Regulations
It is mandatory that each player in a game
of Seven Card Stud Poker place a predetermined ante into the
pot prior to receiving their primary hands. Following
the ante, there are a total of five betting rounds that must
be played by all players who wish to remain in the game.
For the initial round of betting after the
ante, the first mandatory action is a bet in the amount of
half the lower limit by the player who has the lowest face-up
door card. If there is a tie, it is broken by suit which
is ranked from highest to lowest. (Spades, Hearts, Diamonds
and Clubs) For all following betting rounds, the player
with the highest hand is required to act first with a bet in
the amount of half the lower limit. However, if there is
a tie, it cannot be broken by card suit. Instead, the
player who is closest to the dealers left will be the first to
act.
The first two betting rounds are governed
by the tables lower limit stake. The small blind is made
by the first player to the left of the dealer button and is
for half the lower limit stake. The big blind is made by
the next player and is for the the entire limit stake.
Only those players who show a Pair with their 4th Street card
are exempt from this regulation. For players who are
exempt, they have the choice of betting on the higher or lower
limit. If the higher limit is bet, then all following
raises are required to be at the higher limit amount as well.

Starting and raising conditions in
Mississippi Stud are almost the same as Seven-Card Stud,
enabling some minor hands to be playable by the two card flop:
high pairs diminish in profitability, while Straights and
Flushes get better. Small pairs with kickers stay nearly the
same since they fair better coupled against high pairs, but
lose more to Flushes and Straights. On automated Seven
Card Stud Poker simulators, Mississippi can be played by
disengaging the 4th Street betting function.
No Limit Betting Regulations: In no limit games, an
ante is required from each player before play begins.
The player with the highest ranked card showing is required to
act first. The first betting round affords the first
player to bet or fold, while betting rounds thereafter afford
the player to bet or check on the first action. The very
first bet can be made at any size of the players liking, even
as low as one ante.
Limit Betting Regulations: In limit games, an ante is
required from each player before play begins. It is
initiated by the player with the low door card of the game.
The amounts of the last two betting rounds are usually
doubled, although this is not a mandatory rule. (It
should be determined prior to starting the game) The bets are
normally capped at three per round, except in head-to-head
pots.
